Saint George called the Great Martyr Orthodox Church and martyr is one of the most popular saints in the whole Christian (and other) world. His memory is celebrated on April 23 or the churches that go according to the Julian calendar, which coincide if the day before the Resurrection, moved to Easter Monday. Saint George is considered a Saint of the Catholic, Anglican, Orthodox, the Lutheran, Anglican and the Armenian Church.
